Alejandra Ortiz (she/ her)

Alejandra Ortiz (she/ her), writer, and grassroots activist. A trans woman with a history of marginalization and violence. Her history is one that is so far away from that of our own, that we only hear or see about it in the news or in movies. She has dealt with sex work, use of drugs, having a refugee, and has undocumented migrant experience among other intersections. Living in the Netherlands since 2015.  Alejandra devotes her activism to the visibility of empowerment of marginalized communities. Her book De waarheid zal me bevrijden has been published by Lebowski Publishers.
