Aynouk Tan (she/ they)

Aynouk Tan (she/ they) is a lecturer, creative director, activist and writer in the cultural sector and the field of diversity and inclusion. They are one of the organizers of Queer Network Amsterdam (QNA): an alliance that consists out of of 23 organizations that center trans people, black LGBTQI+ people and LGBTQI+ people of color. Tan curates public programs for clients like Cobra Museum and Tropenmuseum. Their lectures revolve around topics such as identity, appearance, colonialism, gender and their intersections. Furthermore Tan is an advisor at the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) and jury member for the Dutch Design Awards.
