Wim Kooijman
Voormalig EVP Human Resources | Air France KLM
Wim Kooijman has been walking around in the Human Resources domain for almost a lifetime. As Executive Vice President Human Resources and Industrial Relations of KLM, he was responsible for social policy within the company and negotiated with various trade unions for many years. As EVP HR Air France KLM, he developed the Social Policy for the group, led the European Works Council and helped build the bridge between Air France and KLM. Prior to that, hr director at Sodexo and first negotiator in the Contract Catering Industry.
In 2016, together with his partner Liesbeth Zwartelé, he started his own consultancy practice. Building on his experience as hr manager in various organizations, he was successful in the mediation in the CAO conflict in the Cleaning and Window Cleaning industry (2014) and between Holland Casino (2015/2017), Recticel (2017). He is independent chairman of the collective labour agreement consultations at the security sector, cleaning industry, APG, KPN and Holland Casino. He helps directors and works councils to improve their cooperation (ABNAMRO, Berenschot) and plays the role of 'stubborn old man' in a number of organizations and guides managers in their development.
In Kooijman's thinking, 'connecting and supporting' are two key concepts that are at stake both in HR policy and in negotiation. With these two concepts, policy is converted into concrete implementation or negotiation result.
In addition, he is a storyteller pure sang and does so at various Colleges and Universities. He combines concepts with practical examples and humour.
